Adrien Rovero designs Antenna Lights

Published: 20-Jan-2011

Swiss designer Adrien Rovero has created a unique collection of lamp fixtures named Antenna Lights that are shaped like TV antennas.

Antenna Lights constitutes three pieces of LED bulbs mounted in positionable arms. This fixture features blown-glass base. The project was created as part of an exhibition called ‘Ecal, a new generation of lights’, presented at Galerie Kreo in Paris.

The LED stripes incorporated in the lamp are small, strong and have small angle diffusions. The ‘antenna’ form can be rotated as required by the user to focus light towards a particular direction. The slanting shape offers flexible directions. Base of the fixture is made of mouth blown glass in order to properly weight the antenna.

Adrien Rovero is a holder of CFC in interior design and a bachelor in industrial design. He received his Master diploma in industrial design in 2006 from the Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne, ECAL and opened adrien rovero studio the same year.
