Published: 29-Mar-2012

Cambria Suites has broken ground on a new $16 million hotel in Miami, Florida, US.

The seven-level facility will be developed by South Florida's Delant Construction Co. It will span over an area of 85,500 square feet housing 122 large suites. All the suites will be equipped with separate work and living areas donning ergonomic chairs, movable desks and luxury linens. The rooms will also be equipped with a pair of flat-screen LCD TVs and MediaHub plug-and-play technology which will enable guests to connect various electronic devices like laptop, and MP3 player. Further, the rooms will be designed to allow views of Lake Mahar, located in close proximity.

The property will feature 1,800 square feet of conference room space, an outdoor pool and terrace. Among its other features include Reflect dining and gathering space, a barista bar, a convenience store named Refill, as well as the Refresh advanced fitness centre with a pool and hot tub/spa area. The hotel will also offer wired and wireless internet service throughout.

The project is due for completion by mid-2013.
