The 37-year old facility, which presently sprawls over an area of one million square feet, will retain its size after the renovation. The landscaping, restrooms, as well as entryways to the mall will be remodelled as part of the project. The interior portion of the building will also sport new decor and graphics and will receive fresh coats of paints.
The food court of the facility will be equipped with new tables and chairs following the facelift. The upgrades will also lead to a reduction in the number of kiosks in the mall to incorporate a more open-plan style in the building.
Construction work is scheduled to start by June 2012 and be completed by 2012 end.
