Davin has assembled all the lamps by hand in his studio in Rua Red, South Dublin’s newest arts center. The lamps have been designed to create a unique ambiance due to their unusual design. When lit, the lamp casts light and shadow across walls, floors and ceilings alike which are enhanced by their cylindrical design. Hardwood slats, birch-ply rings were the materials used for the construction of this design. The lamps are available in the following dimensions: 1400mm x 400mm x 400mm (Pinch)/ 1200mm x 400mm x 400mm (Splay).
The Pinch floor lamp retails at EUR95 ($130 approx.) and the splay at EUR85 ($116 approx.) for an introductory period.
