DoubleTree by Hilton reopens first property in Ireland

Published: 04-Feb-2013

The Morrison Dublin, the first DoubleTree by Hilton property in Ireland, has been reopened following a $9.5 million refurbishment, in partnership with Martinez Hotels & Resorts.

The new property features 138 rooms and suites re-designed with new concept that bordered on lyrics from nearly 30 Irish songwriters and the work of 12 Irish artists. The hotel’s new look was created by Nikki O’Donnell. The stylish, trend setting décor of the hotel pays homage to the hotel’s traditional status as a destination for Irish music.

All rooms of the property feature flat screen televisions and integrated music systems. Guests of the hotel will have access to a 24-hour business zone and split level fitness centre. The hotel also features 410 square metres of wedding, conference and event space that can accommodate up to 240 guests.

The property will introduce Bar Quay 14 and Morrison Grill, its most famous gastronomic options, to guests on 11 February 2013.

The Morrison Dublin is accessible to Dublin’s International Financial Services Centre, tourist attractions and concert venues as well as the Bord Gais Energy Theatre and Guinness Storehouse.
