Feadship unveils SL39 superyacht GO

Published: 31-Mar-2010

Dutch custom-made motor yacht builder Feadship De Vries has launched its third SL39 superyacht named as 'GO'.

De Voogt Naval Architects are the naval architects as well as the exterior designer of the yacht while the interiors are designed by Fokkema & Partners Architecten.

The 39 meter yacht features four decks called sun deck, bridge deck, main deck and lower deck. The bridge deck features lounge, pantry and wheel house while the galley, state room and dining area along with the lounge are located on the main deck. The yacht features four guestrooms located on the lower deck which can accommodate up to ten guests.

The yacht blends classic features with cool modern lines to create its overall design. Traditional Feedship elements such as the bow and window shaping are combined with a white hull and titanium colored superstructure. Soft curves and rounded shapes further enhance the look of the yacht.

The interiors of the yacht have been finished in wood with wooden flooring in lounge and guestrooms. Soft lighting has been installed in the guestrooms to create a comforting atmosphere. Crystal chandeliers adorn the dining rooms. Bathrooms of the yacht have granite flooring.

The superstructure of the yacht has been made of aluminium, with its hull built with steel. The 39 metre yacht is powered by twin 1,055 hp MTU 12V 2000 M70 diesel engines and has a maximum speed of 14 knots and a transatlantic range.

The luxury motor yacht was built under the SL39 mk3 project. It will be delivered in April 2010, after the final fit out and sea trials.
