The firm received the design tender from Korean conglomerate Daesung Group. The 269-room facility forms part of a mixed-use commercial/residential development known as the Daesung D-Cube City project.
The design of the property's guestrooms and major public spaces draws references from local culture and offers a modern take on the concepts. All the 269 rooms and suites incorporate the traditional style of Korean homes. The unique shape of the buidling offers a distinct look to each guestroom. The hotel also comprises Her Rooms for the floors especially built for female guests. The furniture pieces installed in the rooms have made use of traditional patterns and are low proportioned.
The sky lobby of the hotel graces the 41st level of the building offering views of the surrounding landscape. The lobby is adorned with three dimensional experiences of traditional paintings. The meeting space of the facility includes a grand ballroom and pre-function area with a pair of additional floors of meeting rooms, and additional pre-function area. The hotel also features a Bridal or VIP room, and a conventional Paebak room for traditional wedding ceremonies. The facility's dining restaurant provides a playful use of fabric patchwork known as bojagi.
Other features of the hotel include a health club and swimming pool, locker rooms with plunge pools and an Aequalis branded spa.
