Malcomb designs Dove Street Office building in California

Published: 19-Jan-2010

California-headquartered commercial architectural design firm Ware Malcomb has designed Dove Street Office building in Dove Street, Newport Beach, California, which complements an adjacent existing office building.

Ware Malcomb was hired by Southern California-based real estate banking, investment and development company Far West Industries to provide architectural design services for the two-story office building. Dove Street is a 21,690 square feet multi- tenant, class ‘A’ office building with over 8,469 square feet tucked under parking.

Malcomb has designed the building to blend with an adjacent existing office building. The contemporary design style characterized by steel frame with glass and metal panel curtain wall complements the surrounding structures. Dove Street Office building features a double height lobby and entry stair highlighting the vertical, and links the ground entry with the second floor lobby.

The property was built on an existing site that was under developed. The building is in close proximity to Orange County, John Wayne Airport.

The general contractor for the project was KPRS of California.

Ware Malcomb offers planning, architecture, interior design, graphic design and site development services. The firm specializes in the design of commercial office, industrial, technology, healthcare, retail, auto dealerships, public/institutional, educational facilities and renovation projects.
