Renovation plans have been submitted to the city, which includes a makeover to the existing façade, an addition of 8,000 square feet of retail space at the north end of the mall and four new retail buildings near South Robert with drive-through lanes. The makeover scheme also includes an interior remodel of mall anchor Cub Foods and the addition of a Cub liquor store and gas station.
Major tenants at the mall include Dollar Tree, Grand Buffet, Burlington Coat Factory, a tanning salon and a dental office, and nine of the mall's 10 retail spaces are leased. As a part of the renovation the mall will be renamed as Robert Street Marketplace.
