Mount Kisco Diner gets approval for expansion

Published: 16-Jan-2013

Mount Kisco Coach Diner in Westchester County, New York has received an approval from Mount Kisco's Planning Board for its proposed expansion.

The proposed expansion project for the diner include addition of new space of roughly 1,250 square feet which will increase the dining area as well as the kitchen. The plan also includes increasing the number of parking spots from 49 to 62 and merging the current site with a parcel to the south, which was the former site of Paul's Power.

The proposed expansion will lend a new look to the diner. Plans include incorporating stone and stucco for the facade, columns and a porch.

The board mandated few conditions before approving the plan, including screening for residential neighbours, the construction phasing and officially merging the two lots into one.

The diner is located at 252 E. Main St. in Mount Kisco.
