Nobiskrug delivers 60m ‘Jamaica Bay’ yacht
Published: 26-Aug-2010
German yacht builder Nobiskrug has delivered ‘Jamaica Bay’, a traditional 60m motor yacht designed by the Dutch designer Felix Buytendijk.
The Jamaica Bay yacht features a notable canoe stern and traditionally-styled interior and exterior. The exterior decks of the new yacht have been designed to offer uninterrupted views over the ocean.
The conventionally-styled interior features dark mahogany with deep blue carpeting or wooden flooring. The design showcases a smooth transition from the guest areas to the well-appointed crew accommodation.
The yacht features spacious accommodation areas. The generous owner's suite is placed forward on the main deck, just ahead of the VIP suite. Both the suites are equipped with large bathrooms with whirlpool bathtubs.
The lower deck houses four guest cabins which are typically situated around the main staircase. The staircases features traditional mahogany balustrade, and reaches the sky lounge.
Nobiskrug currently has four further yachts under construction and will shortly deliver the next mega yacht Sycara V, which will be presented at the Monaco Yacht Show.
