Pacific Green Lighting Solutions offers new energy-efficient LED lighting

Published: 14-Sep-2009

Pacific Green Lighting Solutions of Lahaina, Hawaii, is all set to retail new LED lights in the state.

The LED lights retailed are specially designed for commercial purposes. It uses a fraction of the wattage of sodium vapor or metal halide light fixtures typically used in parking lots, warehouses, and on the sides of commercial buildings.

LED light can save anywhere from 50 to 85% in energy costs, when compared to a typical sodium vapor light fixture. An added feature is that LEDs deliver white light. Furthermore, these lights are durable and are expected to last over a period of 14 years when used 12 hours a day.

LED lights also do not emerge as hazardous wastes when their functioning fails. Pacific Green Lighting Systems also offers custom light retrofits to convert conventional light fixtures to LED.

Pacific Green Lighting Solutions has recently integrated this new form of LED lights in the Ohana Apartments in Lahaina, making it green in design and also reducing the electricity costs.
