Populous to renovate Ralph Wilson Stadium in New York

Global sport and event architecture firm Populous has been selected by the Buffalo Bills to undertake $130 million renovation of the Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.

To enhance the fan experience and bring new energy into the historic building, the renovations will add various upscale amenities and improved technology to provide the fans a memorable and rich experience.
Implementing new technology throughout the building, the renovation will install new video display boards in the east end of the stadium. A new west end plaza will be constructed, which will include a new team store and enhanced gate entries.
In addition to that the renovation will also include expanded concessions, restrooms, and upgraded and expanded training facilities to enhance player experience.
Improvements to Ralph Wilson Stadium will be undertaken in phases, with the initial design phase to be completed prior to the 2013 season. The majority of renovations will be completed in 2014, with some renovations extending into the 2015 offseason.
