Qisdesign creates Aurelia lamp

Taiwan-based firm Qisdesign has launched the new Aurelia lamp.

The design of the luminaire draws reference from the Moon Jellyfish with their unique form, and their body and shades are made of transparent acrylic. The lamp is powered by energy-saving LED which helps generate a gentle glow when lit up. The piece offers neon shade options of pink, orange and aqua and is available in a table lamp version.

Aurelia comes with a three-way touch ring dimmer which allows easy adjustment of its luminosity. The compact dimension of the LEDs helps phase out glare and enables the LEDs to be concealed in the centre. The light of the lamp is reflected directly on the strips of the lamp's inner shade owing to the directional quality of LED. This helps the luminaire disseminate a translucent light effect if illuminated.
