Cassiopeia II is a 43m semi-displacement motor yacht, and an upgrade to Jachtbouw’s current 32m Cassiopeia I yacht. Rhoades Young designs the interior of new Cassiopeia in such a way that it will display the elegance of classic design with a contemporary twist.

The architecture of the cabins exhibits a departure from the usual lacquered yacht interior. The cabins of Cassiopeia II features classic limed oak combined with rich Italian styling. This blend offers a light and airy formal architecture with a depth of finish evocative of chateaus and period furniture.

The classic architecture is complemented with modern loose furniture and soft furnishings. The loose furniture will provide a contrast to the architecture of the spaces, creating a refined modern take on a classic motor yacht.

The upper deck of the yacht is designed by integrating Indonesian influences. This, in contrast to the teak furniture, highlights a visual connection between the interior and exterior. The upper deck can be converted as a more spacious social space with the help of foldable aft doors. The yacht also features an offset circular staircase with elaborate metal work railings. This feature helps in linking formal lobbies on all decks and provides focus to the main entrance foyer.
