'The Someries' is a new addition to the extensive network of Servisair lounges in the UK. The lounge features upgraded seating, complimentary newspapers and magazines and Internet access. It also offers complimentary drinks, light refreshments besides a relaxing environment to passengers. Access to the lounge is available three hours before flight departure.
The launch function followed a competition inviting members of the public to suggest names for the lounge with a local emphasis. ‘The Someries’ was selected from hundreds of entries, after the local castle close to the airport.
Servisair Lounges manages a total of 22 lounges at airports throughout the UK, as well as lounges in Europe, with facilities also located in North America.
Luton Airport is the fourth largest airport serving the London area after Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, and is one of London's five international airports along with London City Airport.
