Skanska to develop new Green Court Bucharest office in Romania

Swedish construction company Skanska AB will develop a three phase office scheme called Green Court Bucharest in Romania.
To be developed in three phases, the SEK 397 million ($61.9224 million) phase I of the project will comprise of about 19,500 square meters plus underground garage. The office scheme will consist of three class A buildings. The total leasable area of the complex will be around 52,000 square meters, with twelve stories above ground level and three stories underground.
Aiming for LEED certification at Gold level, the Green Court Bucharest will feature a number of sustainable solutions, which will minimize the building’s environmental effect and will significantly reduce its operating costs.
Construction is due to start in the first quarter of 2013 and completion of the project is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2014.
