SquareTrade opens new office in San Francisco

San Francisco-based SquareTrade, which provides extended warranty service for consumer electronics and appliances, has opened a new office in the SoMa district of San Francisco, which is designed by Blitz Design.

Designed to accommodate rapid growth, enable greater collaboration and innovation, and support millions of SquareTrade customers, the new SoMa office has been designed as a 53,000 square feet facility.
Re-purposing an old call centre building downtown, the new offices feature minimal design elements and bold colours. It offers large open spaces, a multitude of work areas for collaboration or solitude as well as stand up walls for agile development.
Additionally, it features a spacious kitchen area to accommodate more employees, a roof deck with the SF Giants' AT&T Park on the horizon and a game room with shuffleboard as well as vintage video games.
Designed as an inspiring workspace to support creative thinking, the new office place will provide all employees a 360-degree view of the customer.
