TSU begins Hale Stadium facelift

Tennessee State University (TSU) has begun the $1 million renovation of the Hale Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, US.

The outdoor stadium on the University campus will be equipped with a temporary sound system as well as a digital scoreboard following the makeover. There will be creation of portable restrooms and concession spaces for renting.

The facility will incorporate extra portable bleachers post upgrades to raise its seating capacity. The bleachers will have a capacity to house 4000, thereby raising the overall stadium capacity to 16,000. The stadium will also be cleaned and will receive fresh coats of paint.

The old ROTC building, located at the stadium's entrance, will be phased out as part of the project. The demolition work is slated to be completed within six weeks.
