Victor Vetterlein creates Tree Of Life desk lamp

Published: 06-Feb-2012

New York City-based designer Victor Vetterlein has created a new lamp named the Tree Of Life.

The new luminaire comes in a desk lamp version and sports a contemporary minimalistic design. The look of the lamp draws reference from a fruit tree with flower blossoms. The piece sports a slim silhouette with a gentle arch which is fitted with five LED-powered lights. The arch helps in disseminating light toward the tabletop or on the displayed object.

The inner core of the lamp is made of copper which makes it ideal to meet a host of lighting applications. Its internal structure is in copper and brass. The lamp's rear is formed of corrugated rubber whereas foam rubber constitutes its sides and front. The look is complemented by its painted metal base. The lamp dons a white tone.
